About Our Founder
Andrea Marano LCSW is a New York based clinician, coach and writer who specializes in children, youth and family wellness and integrative medicine for mental health. She received her graduate degree from Columbia University, specializing in school-based mental health services. With over 10 years of school-based mental health work, she has seen first-hand not only the need for quality support, coaching and professional development for school providers, but also the immense need for integrative and whole-body approaches to mental health in the field as a whole. Andrea holds extensive training in DBT, CBT, the TPOT and Sanctuary Models, and infusing the creative arts into the therapeutic process. Andrea has served as a clinical director and consultant for NYC-based non-profits and provides clinical and organizational consultation for arts organizations looking to better support their participants and staff with mental health as well as school districts and school-based clinics looking to increase capacity in their clinical staff. Andrea is published with Choosing Therapy and featured in Care.com, Parents.com, HealthLine and more!
